Horse Day Camps

   

We are pleased to introduce you to our Horse Day Camps!  Our camps are a good day time activity while the kids are off of school - your rider will learn horse basics from the ground up.  And there's plenty of ride time!  Parents/Guardians are required to fill out Emergency Information and Release and Indemnification forms for each camper; and should be prepared to complete the forms with medical insurance information at the time of check-in.  The forms will be sent out with the camp sign-up confirmation.

Our camps fill quickly!  When registering, one camper per registration form.  Please remember to include your non-refundable deposit with each registration...send your paperwork to our mailing address:  Bunker Park Stable at 5676 - 170th Street N, Hugo, MN  55038.

T-shirts will be available for purchase, $12.00 each; payment is required at the time of registration, in addition to the camp deposit. On the registration form, please indicate desired size.

Spring Break PeeWee One-Day Camp
March 12th, 2012
12:00 - 3:00 pm / $50.00

This camp is set up for our littlest riders. Children ages 5 and 6, of any skill level, will have the opportunity to come spend their afternoon with horses.  They will get the chance to care for a horse, learn safety around the horse, grooming, tacking, and basic instruction on communication between horse and rider. To register, print out this registration form and send it in with $50.00 non-refundable payment to the mailing address printed on the form.

Spring Break One-Day Camp
March 8th & 15th, 2012
9:30 am - 3:00 pm / $75.00

These camps are geared for riders of all skill levels, ages 7 and up. Each rider will be responsible for the care of his/her own horse for the day. Campers will participate in grooming, tacking, and riding. To register, print out this registration form and send it in with a $50.00 non-refundable deposit to our mailing address printed on the form.

Summer Two-Day & Three-Day Camps
This camp is geared for younger riders of all skill levels. Each rider will be responsible for the care of his/her horse. Campers will participate in grooming, tacking, and riding each day. Parents are invited to a Photo Op on the last day to observe their campers in action.

Summer PeeWee Two-Day Camps

For our riders ages 5-6, we are offering one full day or two half-day camps. (Half-day campers can sign up for either the morning OR afternoon - not both.)  Each camper will participate in grooming, tacking, and riding each day. There will be a Photo Op on Friday for family to watch the campers ride.

Summer Five-Day Camps
5 Day camps are also available through our sister stable, Woodloch.

This camp runs Monday to Friday and includes various aspects of horse riding and care. Each camper will be responsible for one horse throughout the week. The camp concludes with a Fun Show for parents to see what the campers have learned. Campers will receive a certificate.

MEA ONE DAY CAMP

9:30am to 3:00pm / Cost $85

Sessions are open for riders ages 7 and up of every ability level. Students will participate in varied phases of riding, horse safety and care, grooming, tacking, and western riding instruction.  Each student is responsible for a horse for the entire day, with structured lessons, discussions, demonstrations, and supervised riding in our indoor arena. To register a student please send in the registration and $85 full camp amount (non-refundable) to the address printed on form.

MEA PEEWEE CAMP

1:00PM- 4:00PM / Cost $65

This is for our young riders (ages 5 and 6) who love horses and need an activity while they are on break.  While students are here for the day, they will be assigned a horse to work with while learning different skills such as; grooming, saddling, bridling, safety, and basic riding communication. The riding portion of the day will be spent in the indoor arena (but remember it is not heated) and the activites prior will be spend in the barn.  Register early to ensure a spot, to do so mail in the registration form and send in the full camp amount (non-refundable) of $65.

WINTER ONE DAY CAMP

The perfect gift for the horse lover and a great way to escape cabin fever! Hot chocolate or cider provided! Sessions are open for riders ages 7 and up of every ability level.
